The Classic City Dixiedawgs, managed by Jennifer Taylor, are an ensemble who play New Orleans-style dixieland music. The Dixiedawgs were founded in the spring of 2012 and have played all around Athens, particularly for church groups, retirement living places, at Athens Academy, and at UGA. The band includes, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, tenor sax, piano, and drums.
